Expert Presentations

Autism has a huge learning curve -- from the whys and hows to the now whats. Join us as we learn from experts how we can best help our kids. Our speakers include neurologists, occupational therapists, educators, behavior specialists, adults with autism, SELPA folk, psychologists, specialists in learning disabilities, parents, etc.

As always, our focus is on what we can do to help our kids. We won't teach you how to sue your school district but we will show you ways to help your child make it through journal writing time at school without throwing his book at the teacher, and how to explain your child's behavior to your mother-in-law, and how to teach him to ride a bike, and how to talk to him about sex, and how to start teaching him to deal with his frustrations without damaging property or getting suspended. Help your child, help your student, help yourself. Come learn with us.

Our presentations are open to parents/caregivers, educators and community members. No children or teens allowed as we discuss sensitive information that they don't need to hear. A $2.00 donation is requested per person but is not mandatory.
